I love the Taylor 4th of July Rodeo! It doesn't get much more patriotic then this....the rodeo action, stands packed with people wearing red, white and blue, fireworks, patriotic music blasting, being with friends and family and performing with the drill team. I always get a little choked up just before we ride in with the American Flag. Especially with the crowd stomping and cheering for us. I love my country and the freedoms we enjoy. I feel so blessed to live where I do and have the opportunity to be part of something this awesome!
The kids are excited, getting ready to head to the rodeo.
I perform at the beginning, then get to sit with everyone for the rest of the rodeo.
There are two Palomino horses. Don't we make a great pair?
The National Anthem.
This is the start of the drill routine. There are 12 of us on the team, all with American Flags.

At the end of the routine, we all gallop around the arena and exit. It is called a "hot lap" and is kind of like a finale. This is always my favorite part of the whole drill!
