I could not resist posting some before and after pictures of my horse Scooby. This is what he looked like when I pulled him out of his paddock to get him ready for the ShowLow 4th of July Rodeo drill performance. 
Not only was his coat and mane the color of the dirt he lives in, but his mane and forelock had small pieces of leafy alfalfa intertwined throughout it. 
It took a while to get it all out, but he cleaned up nicely!
This picture was taken before the ShowLow Rodeo on Friday, July 3rd. Check out the dark sky behind us. It poured about an hour before the start of the rodeo, but the rest of the evening was beautiful.
