I think it is so cute when horses scratch each other. I have never been able to get a picture of it because they always stop before I can get my camera. This time I got lucky. I was able to run in the house, grab my camera, and get a couple shots off before they decided they were done. I had been out grooming them and braiding Black Jacks mane for the parade. I think it turned out cute and Cassidy was so excited when she saw it. She wanted to help, but she needed to sleep in because we were at the rodeo until 10pm the night before. 
We were invited to ride with the 4H kids in the Pioneer Day Parade. Cassidy could hardly wait for parade day to arrive. I was a little nervous because we have never ridden these horses in a parade before and I was not sure how they would act with all the added sights and sounds.
But, I had no need to worry. They were both perfect and we had a wonderful time!

You two sure looked sharp in the parade! So glad you got to do that. :) Drill was fun and the whole weekend was good times. Life in a small town.......:)
