Our friends the Rowley family spent a couple days with us last week. It was soooo fun to see them again. We lived near each other in Queen Creek and spent many hours together riding quads, camping at Greens Peak, eating breakfast on General Conference Sunday, and just hanging out together. The older girls were Harrison and Cassidy's first babysitters. They moved to Highland, Utah about the same time we moved to Snowflake. Chelsea, (back-right) is getting ready to leave on a mission to Florida for the LDS church and wanted to visit some friends in Arizona as her last "harrah". Thanks for including us on your list Chels! :) We did not have much time, but we made the most of it staying up late, playing games and catching up on "news".
Cassidy and Harrison got to miss a day of school to play with them. Garfield was instantly attached to Alexa, the animal lover of the family.
Creamcicle kept an eye out just to be sure no one was getting out of control in his domain.
We braved the cold and wind to go horse back riding. BRRRR But it was still fun and well worth bundling up.
Chelsea snapped this picture the night before they left. I am so proud of her and I know she will change peoples lives by teaching them about Jesus Christ.
About 11:00 p.m., after everyone went to bed, me, Chelsea and Shayla (who is 18 now....where has the time gone?) decided to stay up to watch a movie. I saw about 30 minutes of it before I was curled up in the chair asleep. The next thing I know, Chels was waking me up because the movie was over. Little did I know, she took my picture before waking me up!! Good One Chelsea...hahaha.
Good luck on your mission Chelsea!!!! We miss you guys and hope to see you again soon! Next time UTAH........
