Quick Trip

The kids and I made a quick trip to the valley to attend Emily's baptism. This is my brothers oldest and the first cousin/grandchild to be baptized on my side of the family. She looked beautiful and we had a fun time! Monica (her mom) had a lunch afterward at her home and the food was so yummy. She is such a great cook!! The kids have adjusted so well to our crazy schedule. Of course on Friday night we were working at the house until late trying to get the garage cleaned and prepped for painting on Saturday. Saturday morning, I got the kids up, grabbed some nice clothes to wear to the baptism and they got ready on the drive down. We pulled into the church with 15 minutes to spare! At least we got to enjoy ourselves for the afternoon. The kids especially because they got to go swimming with Grandma and Grandpa!


We always get the royal treatment at my Mom's house. Fresh orange juice, eggs, homemade cinnamon rolls, cantaloupe. Yum. We enjoyed our breakfast and hit the road to make it back to church at 1pm. Wow, this was a QUICK TRIP!!
