Moving!

No, the house is not done, but we were able to rent out the house we are in now. This is great news, except our new tenant needs to be in by September 1st or sooner. So everything has gone crazy around here. My typical day includes getting Harrison off to school, feeding the horses, boxing up things in our current house, loading up the truck, getting Cassidy ready for school, dropping Cassidy off at school, unloading boxes into the upstairs bonus room of our new house (I consider this my workout - walking up stairs with boxes...trust me I can feel the burn), caulking and sanding, picking up the kids after school, and going back to the house and caulking and sanding more. Jeff arrives around 5:30 p.m. and he changes his clothes and helps. One of us at that point will usually drive to town and grab some dinner (it is usually Cupidos or Subway...not to many choices here) then we will work until dusk. We get home at night and Jeff gets the kids to bed while I feed the animals. I am exhausted by the end of the day and literally "fall" into bed by around 9:30pm. The good news is.....we only have about a week and three days of this craziness, and then we get to move into our travel trailer at the new house. And more good news......the painting prep work is almost done and we can concentrate on the move. Yea! This is our third move in three years, so I will be very happy to be settled for a while. And once we are in the new house, our sacrifice of the last three years will be WELL worth it!
