I had to take this picture for my friend Jill who now lives in Maryland. This was our old stomping ground in Springville, Utah where we both lived. Jill is a riding instructor and taught lessons at Springville Indoor Arena that USED to be located where these new homes are. Wow...it looks so different with the barn and indoor arena gone!
In the background of the above picture is where the cross country course was that Jill designed and built. Boy we had some fun riding there! It is sad to see it gone with houses in its place.
At least this barn is still standing. I always thought it was so beautiful! It is located next door to where we boarded our horse for a while.
This was another one of my favorite properties. I love how you drive on a long driveway up to the house with the huge mountains in the background.
O.K., since I am taking a walk down memory lane, I must include this picture. It has been more years then I care to admit since we graduated from BYU. We really did like living in Utah (especially Springville) and sometimes I am still surprised that we moved.
