Following is the step by step process of how to frost cakes made in an Easy Bake Oven:
Begin with a clean Easy Bake Oven mixing cup.
Pour in frosting mix and add 1 tsp. water. Stir thoroughly.
Carefully begin to frost cake.
This step takes a little time.....
And concentration.
Add colorful sprinkles.
Cut into bite size pieces and enjoy!
Ummmmmmmm. Perfect!
Jump around the kitchen with utter elation at your success.
Then...take another bite.
As you enjoy your freshly frosted Easy Bake oven cake, smile as big as you can.
Share with your assistant Chef.
**Please note: Chefs hat and apron are not required. Cassidy forced me to wear this....no really, she did.
O.K., lets try another bite. DELICIOUS!

Side Note: I have been trying unsuccessfully to make decent cookies in my convection oven since I moved here but they always turned out flat and crunchy. I was about to give up and never cook them again (which probably wouldn't do me any harm not to have cookies in the house) when my friend Janet told me she adds 1/4 cup flour to every cookie recipe she cooks here. So I decided to give it one last try.
CHECK IT OUT! IT WORKED!!
They were so yummy!
See you next time on Cassidy's Cooking Corner.

Too cute! You are such a sport to wear an apron AND a hat. How fun.
I cant wait to see the next installment.
2 things. My cookies and cakes were not the same for a year or so until I realized the whole "high altitute" thing. I had no idea what was wrong with me....Also my girls make me do cooking shows with them all the time! We have to video (or pretend to video when I'm in a huge hurry which is, well, most of the time) us making dinner or whatever quite often for our cooking show. I'll let you know which channel we're on when we are syndicated. :) No wonder those girls are friends!
yeah I really meant altitude. just so you know.
