I had heard that there were Bobcats in our area, but I never thought one would venture so close. Recently we had a sighting right in our own yard. It was handsome, colorful and a little on the shy side. Check this out......
Yes, Harrison earned the "Bobcat" rank in Cub Scouts. 
During the little "ceremony", they painted his face with different colors. Each one represented something he had achieved or learned.
Notice his smile. I was trying to decide if he was super proud or really embarrassed that he was getting his face painted in front of everybody. I determined he was happy and proud because he wanted to leave the paint on for school the next day. (luckily, it all rubbed off on his pillow while he slept :)

It looks like in the near future we will also have a "wolf" sighting at our house.
