We spent a memorable Christmas Eve with the Lewis Family.
The evenings entertainment could not be beat. Above we have the cast of the Nativity Scene that was acted out by the kids.
Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus (laying in a bean bag...I mean manger) were well represented. Look how Cassidy was getting into her part as Mary. She is kneeling with her hands folded looking at her beautiful new baby. So cute!
And here we have the beautiful Angel with her glorious white cape appearing to our Shepherd who luckily had her plastic baseball bat/shepherds staff just in case any sheep strayed. Notice the precious Mary with her hands still folded.
And the Wise Men. "I know I have a gift here somewhere. Hmmmm, which pocket did I put that in?"
Yes, he found it and presented it to the baby. And of course, little Mary is still taking her important role very seriously.
And, on to the kids gifts. The Lewis family has the same tradition as us where we open one present on Christmas Eve. It always just HAPPENS to be a pair of new pajamas. So we gathered around and carried on the tradition together.
We had a fun night of eating, entertainment, gifts and game playing and we are so grateful to have such wonderful friends to spend such an important evening with!
