Harrison's room is finally coming together. I sure do love the bright blue and red colors! The blue chair in the corner I found at a thrift store for 15 bucks and it is in perfect condition. The other little brown chair I found at the same store for 3 bucks! It fits perfect with his secretaries desk because it is small.This trunk belonged to my Great Grandma, so it has special meaning to me and Harrison loves it. He says he has a treasure chest in his room. I put Amber Shellac (a little tip I got from my friend who owns an Antique store in town) on it and it looks awesome.
My Sister-in-law, Monica, had a great idea to put rustic half shutters on the lower part of his windows. So one of these days I am going to make thoses and they will look really cool. (Keep those great ideas coming Monica!) For now, I found these curtains at a thrift store for 3 bucks each. I couldn't believe how perfect they matched the other red colors in his room.

I seriously need to know what thrift stores you are hitting. I have the worst luck around here. I would love to go with you sometimes, seeing as you have such good luck!
