The movie was o.k. but the funnest part about seeing it was watching the anticipation of all the teenyboppers. And I must admit, I had plenty of my own. ;) And then to hear everyone scream in excitement when it started. It really cracked me up! It made it even more fun seeing it on opening day. There is just no way to capture in the movie the detail that is in the book.
The evening began with a quick yummy dinner at Planet Pasta. No, we could not waste much time eating. We had to get to the the theater early so we could stand in line and get good seats!
Mission accomplished....we were the second group in line. We waited in line for over an hour, but the time was filled with fun and laughter. It was well worth it because we were able to choose great seats.....in fact, we saved around 25 seats for other friends who were in line behind us!
Thanks for the FUN GIRLS NIGHT!!!!The next day I started New Moon, the second book in the series. And I'll admit, I read it in one day, just like the first one. I guess in a weird way you could call it "good luck?" because Harrison was sick on Sunday and Jeff was gone most of the day, so I HAD to stay home with him. And when you are forced to stay home all day.....what else is there to do besides read??? :)

Looks like you girls had a fun night out. Next time I'm in.....
Laurie,
I went to the movie the second day it was out with 4 ladies here in Maryland. The audience was cheering and ohhing and awwing and drooling over the Cullen boys. They clapped at the end and everything! It was fun to see even the Maryland people love it so much!!!!
Oh! And the last book in the series is my favorite! Happy reading!
