Cheap Stuff

These are some of my painting projects I have been working on over the past couple of weeks. This headboard is for Cassidy's room. It used to be part of the crib I used for Harrison and Cassidy. I am using the other side of the crib as a matching foot board. I bought this little bookshelf at a yard sale for $5. It was white when I bought it but I painted it green to add more color to Cassidy's room. I am decorating her room with white bead board, green, pink and black.
I painted these barn red to use in my kitchen and mud/laundry room.
My friend was getting rid of this so I got it for FREE! I painted it black because I was going to put it in Cassidy's room, but then I figured out it is a queen sized head board and I am putting a full sized bed in her room. So, now I am putting it in the guest room.
Here it is after painting. It also has a matching foot board which makes it look extra cool.Another project for Cassidy's room and this one has some fun history behind it. This was my little desk when I was growing up and my Mom's when she was growing up. It was cream and I painted it pink and put the crystal knobs on it.
This little bench was in Cassidy's room before but it was a boring white color. So I painted it green, distressed it and added the pink crystal knobs. I can't believe the transition it made.
I have had this table for several years in a stained color. When I was looking through my stuff for a night stand for Cassidy's room I found it. After painting it green and distressing it, it fits perfect in her room.
