Last week during my drill team practice, Cassidy found a big puddle and caught a bunch of tadpoles. She was determined to save them until they became frogs and showed me how several of them were already growing legs. Unfortunately, they were not doing well after two days in captivity, so I talked her into releasing them in the pond in front of our house. This really took some convincing ("they would be much happier swimming in a big pond, once they all become frogs they will not fit in your bucket, we can go to the pond to visit all the new frogs, etc etc etc") She was not real happy about it..in fact if you look closely at this picture you can see a tear rolling down her cheek, but she did it. I am sure now anytime we see a frog at the pond she will think it is one of hers that was transplanted from the rodeo grounds....and who knows, it might be!!.jpg)

Oh, that is so sweet! She is such a precious little soul! I'm so glad you were able to convince her to let the life cycle continue on. You're a good mom and you have a fantastic little girlie there! Good job to the both of you!
could she be any cuter? you got some great pictures.
Aw! That last picture is precious! She is so cute! You should have let her wade out in the water a little more and get a little mud on her! he! he!
