On Cassidy's birthday, which is the last day we were in Maryland, we took the kids to see White's Ferry, which crosses the Potomac River. We had been telling Harrison about it but he did not believe that cars would ride a ferry across a river instead of driving on a bridge. The ferry is about a mile from Jill's house. It was cool how he wanted to figure out how it worked, so Jill gave him a detailed explanation. We rode across to the other side of the river so he could say he has been to Virginia.
