When we lived in the house on Valencia in Queen Creek, we used to say that was our last house and we would be there forever. We then sold that and moved to the house on Jackrabbit in Queen Creek. We said we would build our dream home and be there forever. Only a year and one half later, we are now in another home in Snowflake, Arizona. Moving to this home we knew it was only a "transition" home until we found the place we wanted to build. We now found 8 acres where we are going to build a home. I no longer say this is where we will be forever. But I hope it will be fairly long term because I don't want to start over from scratch as we have done 3 times now. I commented to my Mom that this property is a "diamond in the rough". She said "The last 3 properties you have been in were a diamond in the rough and you t

urned them into the diamond then moved!". I am hoping we c
an turn this property into

a diamond then sit back and enjoy it!!!! It overlooks farm fields and the Silver Creek, which has big trees growing along it. It is very secluded, yet only 2.5 miles to the
main street light in Snowflake. It has a gradual slope up, so we are building the house in the back, highest part of the property. We are starting the
excavating in about 2 months....and then the fun really begins. :)
