Florida Vacation

At the beginning of June, we took a fabulous vacation to Florida. We stayed at Ron Jon Resort which is located on Coco Beach in Cape Canaveral. In was very relaxing. I met many new friends due to my wonderful conversation piece (my soft cast). Although I was unable to swim, my doctor did allow me to take off my cast while lounging at the pool. That did help my tan to be a little more even. :) The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the beach and ocean. It also had a kitchen so we didn't have to go out to eat for a solid week. The resort itself was very family oriented with several pools, slides, lazy river, indoor playgroud, goofy golf and daily activities for the kids. While staying there, we met the Pyatte family from Indiana (Chuck, Tillie, Ann, Olivia and Harrison). Believe it or not, our Harrison and their Harrison were the same age and had lots of fun together. We had a great time hanging out with them and hope to someday make it back to Ron Jons at the same time! The last night we were there, a tropical storm hit. It was amazing how different the ocean looks during a large storm. We had a fun and relaxing week and can hardly wait to go back!
