This past July and August, we had a lot of rain here in the Boondocks. Although it was considered the monsoon season, we received much more than normal, so the "locals" told me. The locals also told me it was a terribly hot summer as well, although, enduring 110 degree summers for most of my life, I thought the ninety degree temps felt pretty nice. :) These pictures show how the kids and our neighbor Janet decided to cool off on one of the "sweltering" summer days!
